Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business growth.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and reporting.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in an agency or fast-paced industry is a plus.
